Sorry about the tiddly thumb nails, but they get bigger if you click on them. And the upside down sh*t. I've tried everything to stop this, even holding the camera upside down to take the pictures, but somehow it knows.

does anyone ever run into any problems on sites with your dmrs. my friend owned an m4 which was rebuilt to be a DMR, locked to semi, the whole shebang! to then be turned away on site because it is not a factory issue sharp shooter?? any ideas or comments?

Sounds rediculous to me. The FPS and the fact it's locked to semi generally defines a gun in airsoft as a DMR, not what it looks like. The only reason i could think of for a site turning away a non traditional base for a DMR was if the site was strictly milsim.

I've seen that a F+O site treats any rifle with a short-dot or similar scope as a DMR and are subject to the same restrictions (MED etc) even though it may only be sub 350 fps... Anyone actually experienced this? I think it has been designed to counter any confusion with regards to people thinking that someone is using a DMR inside MEDs or whatever.

In regards to F+O's dmr ruling, ive used a few rifles that they might consider dmr's, and ive never been held to this rule, or seen anyone who has.

Im pretty sure it was implemented to stop confusion and complaints about people not following med's. Its basically the same rule for bolt action rifles (IE: If its bolt action its a sniper rifle and therefore is subject to those specific rules) but seems rather a strange one, considering one mans dmr could well be anothers idea of a "standard" rifle.

Aye, that's the way it was explained to me. It was specific to a particular site and for the life of me I can't remember which one it was (it was on their Facebook page).

I was toying with the idea of a TM recoil DMR but I may wait until the 417 is released (by that time I may actually be able to afford one. It's either that or a TM L96...).

I'm almost done with the KC-02, all I'm waiting is a new steel piston.
I fount and installed a Tanio Koba 10/22 receiver!
It was a direct drop in fit.
