You sir are correct. I decided that i wanted to at least keep a gun that works all year round. As we all know GBBr's don't always work in colder weather. I don't skirmish much through winter to be fair, but when i do i'd still like my rifle to shoot everytime i pull the trigger.

So i should now be keeping this for some time to come.

All i need now is a Low profile gas block, rifle scope and it's done. I will possibly be getting a spare upper assembly with a shorter overall length. I'll have to see what lies ahead

Nice set-up. Where did you get the rail and does just replace the plastic top cover?

Got the RIS off here a couple of years ago and yes it replaces the plastic heat shield and clamps on to the barrel.

Yep, Star/Ares version 1 with the fiberglass body.
