My quick modification

Hi all recently purchased a DE M56AL and was suprised at the length of the shotgun its quite a beast.

With it being a tad on the big side i posted recently asking about exchanging handle/Stock with the C or B version.

while i wait for a reply i decided to make my M56AL a M56A by shortening the barrel.

heres the before and after (tape was for measurement), and it fires exactly the same as it did before.





Now to find a M56C or B handle

It would do, the inner barrels are the same length on all models. But nice job with the cutting The full length is a bit ridiculous.

Yip agreed it is pretty long just did a measurement and hacksawed it off. It was pretty soft aluminium so it cut nice and easy.

Think it looks better anyway
