Whats the purpose of the tape?

Doesn't give much camo and looks well... not as good as before....

Its the way the british army snipers do it .Its so they don't have to cam the stock up every time they go to different theaters "desert woodland" with spray paint
And the l96 stock is to shiny in military terms to be used on its own..

ltpercy bit of a tip ... if you can get some! Use the old crappy cam sticks that was issued years ago its waterproof and you can draw better line's on it..

will be interesting to see the end result but atm it looks ruined

hope it improves and i had a aw338 and not impressed compared to a tanaka m700 i had that was a great rifle

but spring sniping is more for me in the current weather conditions, TM VSR maxed out all the way
