If you were going to do that to the Thompson, you should have got the metal lower receiver. It looks odd with a scratched-up upper, but pristine lower.
As for the M1: I told you it'd be easy to get the paint off that barrel part.

Yes they are. He made them from Thompson gearboxes and custom-machined parts.

it strange ,i only made the sterlings because two people begged and i was drunk so i said yes,they were never a gun that really turned my head and i planned to sell the third one as well,now its almost certainly my favourite gun and they are still the custom build i get most interest in,i could have sold all 3 ten times over and still have people asking for more and i'd make more but for the fact that i cant get the thompson gearboxes except rather expensively buried in a complete thompson,and that would make the price per gun at around £550 or more depending on internal spec requirements.
