True, but it just doesn't look quite as awsome! Not that I'd not buy one if it was made available!
And yep, the '34 would be fine too, but given the choice of all three, I'd have the '42. Love that gun!

Re: WWII guns...
I guess like most WW2 enthusiasts, it's easier to list the guns you don't really want! Although it's probably more accurate to list them as the one's you'd buy last, as we all know we'd love one of each!! The ones at the end of my list are...
Grease gun
Chauchat
Owen Gun
Nambu (sorry Boris, gotta dissagree with you on that one!)
Type 96 LMG (just give us a frickin' Bren!!)

Re: WWII guns...
ww2 wise i've happy with the german gear i've got, really i should get a helmet, but i'm not fussed.
i'd like a Kar98, but the tanaka i'd be scared to take skirmishing as its soo fragile and the dboys one isn't great with the whole shell ejections, and i doubt we'd ever get a Kar 43.
if i do an allied ww2 get up i'm going american, its so much cheaper and easier to do.

Plus the yank webbing is the most comfy to wear and accessable for use.
As for the Kar, it's not exactly 'fragile' I have to say. Ok, you would weep if you fell on it, but that's easy enough to avoid!! :D

Re: WWII guns...
is the m14 to m1 conversion an easy one? Is it an expensive conversion kit or real steel stock etc?

Re: WWII guns...
Ghost the Chauchat is WW1 but still a pile of poo.
Borris be proud and go Brit. The more who do the more the kit will come down in price. The only reason I do German is I'm sick to death of Brit wonna-be yanks, I just think it's sad.

Re: WWII guns...
i'd do soviet over brit if i had to choose based on role in WW2...
plus the brits since they gave up the red coats look shite imo, haven't like any brit gear since the zulu wars tbh.
and soviet ww2 is even harder to get together than british. only reason i did german is because they look kewl, its available to do, and MP40's are epic.

Re: WWII guns...
I have the AGM MP40 ( no need for a picture of it as it is the same as everyone elses) and an SMG Owen Gun which most people either love or hate ( hate being the preferred preference). But it does go well with my WW2 Aussie loadout.

Not seen that out in a while Finger! You'll need to break out the Aussie kit next game.
