That's good to hear! I was worried it might not fit on my g-spec barrel but if it fits on you mahoosive barrel I'm sure it'll be fine!!

Yeah fits on the G-Spec no issue mate. In fact I've had it fitted alongside my G-Spec barrel a couple times.

Current project. Tanaka M40A1. Going to convert it to a Remington 700 Short Action.

This is how I received it:


Wasn't in a terrible state but needed cleaning and some o-rings changing. I stripped the paint back to find two tone paint, which I then stripped off again (don't you just love nitromors? the old sutff, not the new stuff).

Anyway here's how it currently looks:

I have this Hogue rubber stock which almost fits, just needs a bit of dremelling (turns out the Tanaka M40 isn't 100% accurate to the Remington 700 short action as claimed):


Got a mixture of HPA tap'd and standard propane mags. On propane it'll hit about 280 feet with .43's however on HPA it'll hit about 300 feet with the same BBs. Totally worth HPA'ing everything!

I really need to get my act together and find an M3 scope for my Tanaka build... Just in time for, eh, winter...
