Hunter, it does look good with a 552 on...but its a touch hot for CQB as its 405fps on green gas...and I havent worked out how to downgrade yet...although I suppose heavy bb's

134a happily cycles the bolt on this mate. That should bring it down to about 300-330. Ultra runs at about 360-380.

RA Tech sell an NPAS kit. But it's "supposedly" not easy to install.

..indeed not...possibly why I initially wrote 'and I havent worked out how to downgrade yet'...

& Hunter101, cheers mate, will try some 134a...simply because, its such a short weapon, take the bipod off, wack on the 552, and it'll be awesome for CQB

I was looking at getting one myself for the weekender. And using it as a DMR. They also do a 6.01 inner for it. So it does have abit of headway for upgrades.

I'd try some 134a first and see how that goes. In our climate it shouldn't go over 350 even in our hottest summer days

Nonetheless, my point stands. Heavier bb's shouldn't be used to enable a gun to dip below site levels, which is what your comment inferred.

Well, you've drawn the inference...so I'll leave that to you.

And, I hadnt even considered it for CQB until hunter suggested, as its clear from the photos that I have it set up as a DMR

Delta, pretty impressed so far, it has only been out once, for a test run, as I have been playing CQB a lot lately & tend to run pistols/mp7 & wasnt aware that 134a would give me enough of a power drop to use it.

Also, my intent from the beginning was to turn it into a DMR, so was awaiting the arrival of pistol grip etc. However, it was shooting very straight and carrying nicely, havent really dialled it in fully yet, although zero'd it a few days ago down the garden at about 20m, and it was hitting the target every time, so it looks good for accuracy.

Only thing I have found so far, is the magazines have to be seated 'just so' or the slide wont lock open on empty, but thats a minor thing and just takes practice
