M4 Shorty's/Stubby's/CQB/Patriots
31 May, 2011, 19:31
Hay guys, i'm currently in the process of making an M4 stubby i've got the internals sorted (bar the barrel length) but i cant decide on the externals.
so i look to the community for inspiration. anyone have any Stubby's/shorty's/ect to show off?
Pics would be cool to try and gauge how small i can really get it.
i'm trying effectively to get something i can use more of a sidearm than a primary weapon. i know with a selection of stubby's/shorty's that there are no real world comparisons, but regardless lets see some creations. :D
Cheers all.

This one was based on a real-steel build
It could do with a different buffer tube but I like being able to put a stock on it

That a GBB? or the battery in the stocktube?
Bit too long for the impression i'm trying to get on my built. but somehow... i kinda love/hate it :P

It's a GBB "pistol" build.

its not finished, the back plate needs to be welded or screwed into place, motor connected, and a few other bits n bobs added....i know its not a support weapon, but im planning on using the box mag as a duel mag n battery holder.....

Re: M4 Shorty's/Stubby's/CQB/Patriots
yea mate , The gun did start off as a CXP but has now ended up looking like this . I wasnt that keen on the original cxp front end and the rail , sights set up , so swapped it about to what you see now :D
I did build a m4 pistol a while back out of a ics m4 with a stubby killer front end , ready mag , and the ics blanking plate for the pistol with the qd sling mount built in , Sorry no pics as its now in my parts box as its guts were needed
