Western and cowboy Theme collection
21 July, 2011, 16:26
here a few low quality pictures of my collection of western guns. Most of the revolvers bar 1 are tanaka. The winchesters are all KTW apart from the guards gun.
This is only about half of my collection as the rest are being used on other projects. i will try and get some better quality pictures sorted soon
Cheers

Have you used any in the field? How do they perform against other modern weapons?

Lol i got a stetson in the post today..a week late from when i wanted it for a game..i dont suit them at all..then again i dont suit hats in general!
your lucky to be owning all them SAA's im in the market for one at the moment (again) although i have my eye on a Artillery 5.5 in midnight black finish £250 and this time will never sell it
although i want marushin ones because of the shells..bit of extra fun but naff performance
I briefly used a 7.5inch Tanaka a couple of years back at GZ Urban and it was a utter nail driver.

Re: Western and cowboy Theme collection
I would go for the tanakas every time if you can get hold of them, the marushin ones are terrible in my opinion i got a few of them when they came out but after having tanakas for years they just felt like toys.
you are right about the 7.5 inch cavalries being brilliant, they outrange a lot of other guns on the field in my experience.
if you do get one let me know if you do ever sell it LOL
Cheers

Yeah ive heard bad things about marushins i think ill avoid em to be honest, i can always fill a belt with 45 long colt inerts anyway like i did with the last SAA i had.
I was going to get another Cavalry but i thought nah artillery is a nice middle ground, spinnable and usable that extra bit of barrel can make all the difference going from each of the 3 models.
Do get some high res pics up of these beauties they deserve it
Ill make a thread of the ones ive owned as well

Re: Western and cowboy Theme collection
Nice collection Bibby! Loving the cut down winchesters, never seen them before. I guess I now know why I never any six shooters for sale, you've bought them all!!
Life is a short warm moment, death is a long cold rest,
you get your chance to try, in the twinkling of an eye,
eighty years with luck or even less.
