Browning 30.cal 1919
7 February, 2012, 23:02
This is my project that embarked on a few months ago and thought i would share the progress.
i will add photos too the thread as i go on.
these photos are taken in the order that i did the components.
The internals of my personal 30.cal
Barrel boss with brass fastener
Reciver taped together to give me a general idea of fit
Trigger filed to shape
Side plates after riveting
Top latch plate for lid
All welded and fettled
Top cover held open by my trusty assistant......(shhhh dnt tell him i said that its my boss)
Overall view ow were i am with it now.
some of the eagle eyed viewers may have spotted i have more the one guns worth of bits so there will be a few for sale.
If your genuinely interested drop me a PM
Feel free to comment
Thanks
Matt

Very nice!
What are the specs on that barrel jacket tube?
Are you doing the proper rear sight bridge?

It's very shiny. I thought it was aluminium.

2)It is an offence to sell an imitation firearm to a person under the age of eighteen.

Not sure what Matt's using, but if you search in the right places, you can find dimensioned drawings for most of the parts. Using that info, photos can fill in the gaps.
