MAGPUL MOE Range Released & My Mini Review...
2 February, 2009, 21:21
I know some people would have already noticed MAGPUL's new releases but here's a few pictures of there new handguard and a little bit about it...
My new G&G M4 with MAGPUL MOE Handguard (sorry about the shoe, I hate that)
-Not yet on the MAGPUL website but MAGPUL are selling them via email, and they're also available from many HK retailers.
-VERY affordable, I got mine for $28USD. I think this is a very cheap price for what it is, I would have been prepared to pay around $60USD+.
-SOLID handguard, very strong with no imperfections.
-Original look, I've never seen something like it before.
-A little bit cheeky (as they released them some time after the actual handguard) but still worth it (I just ordered mine), there are available specialised rails for them to add accessories. Although these do cost almost as much as the handguard - your looking at around $25USD+
So I hope you like the look of it on my new G&G M4, I think it's very nice and feels great.
Also, make sure you check out what MAGPUL has to offer, they do great stuff for many different rifles.
Thanks for looking, post any questions you have about it,
Alex (mj23lj)
p.s. Moderators - I know this more so a review, I just thought as not many people know about them yet it could go here for awhile first (feel free to move it though).

I don't know, I saw a guy with one on Sunday and it looked quote nice. Although he said it took a bit of bodging to get it on. I'm not entirley sure how it's better than a normal handgaurd mind you.

It was a bit loose for me (twisted side to side 1-2mm) at first, but that seemed to be down to the loose plate next to the front sight. With a spacer or something inside the handguard it's easily sorted...

It fits well with G&P M4 commando,, fits perfectly with G&P delta rings as mentioned by one of the HK Internet store, no woobles as it was meant to be.

Ya, that makes sense, like I said, I think it was definitely down to my M4 rather than the hand-guard.

I am not trying to offend you buddy, just to give some enlightenment so people will know and won't have any regrets when they buy this nice looking hand guard. By the way here's mine on a G&P EOD. Perfect fit no woobles or what so ever.

Re: MAGPUL MOE Range Released & My Mini Review...
Looking at this I would imagine it will fit all M4's that use a propper replica D-Ring (such as G&P, CA, Systema etc). If yours is maybe a TM or ICS, the D-Ring doesn't clamp the grips in the same way. They have extra flanges on the outer barrel to hold the grips in place, with correstonding extra moulded bits on the handguards.
