I've seen a Prime one and a WE (not sure if it's made by WE) one.
But the Prime one looks well weird.

Mine's a Prime Version 2. The people that sold it to me told me that the version 1 was replaced by version 2 (i.e., that they aren't supposed to be alternative) and I find version 2 to be a fairly good imitation of the back of a real P226. It's not 100% accurate, but it's (a) a hell of a lot better than a blank plate and (b) definitely convincing enough. Plus it was easily the easiest part of the gun to fit.

Your gun is soooo beautiful. I would love to have one but I simply can't afford it. I'm really hope Ra-tech will maybe make a steel slide for the p226 series since they did for most of the recent WE GBB Modells.

But how does it shoot? Is the recoil slugish like you can see it on most youtube videos?

I hope I can one day afford an RA-Tech steel slide for the KJW Mk.23 - now THAT is a bad-ass gun!

But how does it shoot? Is the recoil slugish like you can see it on most youtube videos?

Today it was shooting very poorly - I figured out that the BBU (secured with only two of the original three machine screws; the third point, up at the rear of the ejection port, doesn't have a corresponding hole in the Inokatsu slide) had worked its way loose. After tightening the screws up it shot well. The match between the Nineball piston head and the KJW nozzle is also not that good; the larger O-ring is quite tight (not so tight that the nozzle can't move, but sufficiently tight that it won't retract), and the smaller O-ring is I think too loose. I'll have the local tech have a look at the smaller O-ring. Last week, with all its various upgrades fitted, it was shooting around 295-280fps as measured on the same Skan chrono.

As to the 'general' shooting experience (as in, when it's working at its best), it's brutal. The kick is nothing short of violent and the noise is equally cacophonous. The slide action was slow on the original KJW spring, but with the new 150% Guarder one it's snappy enough. I might upgrade to the 160% Action one the next time I buy something from a retailer that stocks it.

So they do! And at the same price I paid. In my opinion, my pistol at it stands is definitely not skirmishable, at least not in cold weather. Had my gun been built from a Marui (which it might yet be rebuilt with), or had KJW come out with their P226 CO2 magazines by now, perhaps. As it is, at less than 10 degrees the pistol will fire at most ten shots before it's all frozen up inside. I'm going to move to the heavier hammer spring, and find an incrementally smaller O-ring for the piston lid, and report back. As it is, the gun is so expensive that you don't really want to risk it until it's good and ready.

Also, I'm pretty sure unnamed-Asian-retailer is quoting this review in their sales pitch:

Thanks for a great thread, very informative.
Yours looks just pure porn.
As the owner of a KJW 226 (in Desert Tan) I find the news that the Inokatsu is based on the same gun I have rather gratifying. All the same can one just order in the steel parts from Inokatsu, buy in an off the shelf Marui or KJW and assemble your own? (Or for a guy like me, pay someone else).
I also use TM mags as the original did not last long and aren't half the quality the TMs are, I had it upgraded with Guarder 150% springs and fitted a NineBall hopup and Guarder 6.02 which is black and looks a lot less conspicuous than plain brass.
After all that it goes and sounds great but needs Guarder black gas to work properly except in the hottest temps and I'm guessing that goes double if you have a steel slide?
I also find that slide lock after the last round is pretty hit and miss unless I load it realistically like the real steel with 15-16 rounds and full gas, only then can I be sure that the slide will lock automatically. Do you have the same issue?
I also find that since the 15% springs were fitted the hammer goes too far forward when using the decocker and indeed sometimes it fires a shot! I have to use the decocker with a light touch and only push it as far as it needs. I notice the hammer in your first pic seems to sit too far down which mine does when suffering that problem, so wondered if that sounded familiar to you.
