Marui Mac10
8 April, 2012, 22:34
Was thinking of getting one of these for my 'nam loadout. Would like a review mainly of internals/performance. Not too bothered about externals. Also, what upgrades are needed for woodland use (i was thinking extended tightbore and hopup but can't find either.) (only nineball standard length barrel).
cheers,
chris

Re: Marui Mac10
I used a stock Marui MAC 10 for about 3 woodland games as a primary. I didn't need any upgrades, the stock performance is equal in range to most Marui AEGs, comparable to my SIG 552, and the accuracy is great considering the short barrel, but the best part is the noise. With the included suppressor, it is unhearable past 10-15 meters. Good rate of fire for the small battery, and the Hi-Caps are great holding 480 rounds. Lows hold 50 reliably. Upgrades are hard to find, but the stock parts are fine really. At 250 FPS it's usable for woodland, and as I said, very very quiet. I'd totally recommend it.
