[Custom] M1928 Thompson (from TM M1A1 Thompson)
7 March, 2011, 21:21
Hi guys, I believe this is the first proper post I ever make in this forum since I registered, I do not think I am the first one made such a modification on a M1A1 Thompson, I am not trying to show off or something but it appears there are not many WWII fans in here (maybe I'm wrong~ sorry~) alright i am going to stop talking, pictures will prove everything, enjoy~
Before modification..... (yeah... i know... 20rds short mag!
)
Another one before modifcation with the drum mag!
And the out come.....
Another view of it....
take a closer look ....
And the last one... size comparison with all the existing thompson mags!

looks nice mate, well done
ive been a fan of the thompson for ages, since using my team-mates
but you should ditch the round drum mag mate, as they hold the same ammount as the stick high caps( 450-480 )
other then that mate, perfect :p

Haha i know the drum mag is a bit silly but since the whole point making a M1A1 into a M1928 is the drum mag and the front grip (and the bolt as well), and in fact I bought the drum mag first before i bought the short 20rd mag, and it was the main cause to drive me to modify my thompson. Anyway thanks for your common!

I love my M1A1 and if I could get my hands on another Tommy a 1928 version would be very tempting to go for the full Mafia look.
Quality mate and great to see you changed/modded the top receiver!
