MG36
18 January, 2009, 21:30
Ive been wanting to build/own a light machine gun for a while now, and while M60s are still my favourite, they are out of my price range, but are chased closely by the MG36. My question is this- ive decided to make an MG36 off a JG G36, but
1. Does real steel MG36s have a four hole or six hole foregrip?
2. Do they normally have the scope handle or not?
Thanks

Re: MG36
There is no real steal MG36. It was trialled and that's as far as it got. There are some pics still floating around that you can Google for though

Re: MG36
Sorry, bad use of terms there by me- the one that was trailed is the one im after. Toruble is after googling it, ive got pictures of a four hole with and without the scope handle, and both of these with the 6 hole aswell

Re: MG36
I think you can probably get away with either tbh because, as it never made production, I don't think a desgin was ever finalised. There were some picks over on the US based HK Pro website. However, if it were me, I'd go with the 6 hole, because it was supposed to have a more heavy duty barrel

Re: MG36
these are some pics of the mg36 with inbuild scope
yes the mg36 with inbuilt bipod has 6 holes and the reiled frontend has 4
i owned a mg36 for some time and it was good but weighed to much for me
