Could someone do a performance review on the stock TM g-spec?
25 May, 2009, 15:19
I'm going to buy one of these very soon.
So far, ive heard nothing but good news about these guns. Ive fired a couple of shots with my friends g-spec, and it seemed like a really nice gun.
Could someone who owns one, or who has owned one in the pass perhaps give me a little idea what the gun is capable of at stock level.
Ive done some research, and aparently the gun is capable of shooting a 0.25g bullet to about 50 meters, with the hop almost set on max. Is this right?
My old sniper could barely reach 35 meters without dropping a considerable amount...
Could someone please do a simple performance review?
thanks.

Ya, I'd say 40m accurately is more realistic - and that's with all the DIY modifications done as well.
There really isn't much else to say bud...
Cut the air-break down (the more you take, the less accurate your rifle will be - very unnoticeable though) and you may see a slight increase (an extra 5-10m MAX).
If you need more hop, then wrap the bucking lightly in PTFE Tape.
Hope that helps,
Alex (mj23lj)
