Re: tm l96 aws reviews plz
I have one:
Due to my own fault it is broken. I took it apart and lost a screw. For a competant person Dis-assembly should be fairly easy.
Pros:
Looks incredible.
There is a magazine.
Smooth bolt pull.
Stock acccuracy.
Cons:
FPS isn't everything but does need an upgrade to match other snipers.
(Parts avaliable to make it 470 fps)
Not common therefore some parts might be hard to find.
Can't really say there are cheap upgrades, but not really sure.
Overall, looks amazing, but if your site allows guns above 330fps deffinately upgrade it. As stock I would catorgrise it as a looker as the range is not great. When I went to a skirmish I could see many people with cheap, well/warrior l96's and thinking whether they went the right choice. If you can afford upgrades DEFFINATELY worth it. Good gun. Go buy it

Re: tm l96 aws reviews plz
How about you just whack a bigger spring in it to get it up to 400 ish fps and then it will still have good accuracy but more range, and then when you have the money, get a 450 fps spring and replace the sears and piston and stuffffffffff.

Sears will probably break at 400fps. Best just spend the money for laylax or pdi parts like I did on my TM L96

Re: tm l96 aws reviews plz
sorry for necro. i have one since they popped onto the market.
now it is fully PDI upgraded:
V trigger
PDI palsonite cylinder set
PDI 6.01 barrel
PDI 140 spring
PDI 4x barrel spacers
firefly rubber with flat nub
custom made shims and hop-up arm
custom silencer
If you are good enough with air-smithing the results are amazing.
My rifle shot with 162m/s with no fluctuation whatsoever, although the spring is just 140 one (biggest for AWS)
i can take out (normal conditions) an "enemy" almost every time at >80 meters
sometimes people were measured the distance with a laser range finder because of improbability for some shots.
the rifle is very silent because of 140 spring and because of the internals of the silencer.
i also own a hpa modified DSR-1 (v2) and the differences are marginal even though the DSR has a 650mm barrel.
