Techincally you should train yourself to shoot with both eyes, using Acogs, eotechs, reflex or anyother site.

All non magnified optics (inc iron sights) should be used both eyes open. (at least i cant think o any that wont work.)
Some magnified optics work this way too (real acogs for example).
Cheap acms usually dont have good enough eye relief to be comfortable like this though.

Mind i have found it easier with Real Eotech and Magnifier using the Bindon concept. But it did find it reall hard on my clone Acog. Guess real stuff pays off lol

As this thread gained a like, it has come to my attention that the above is now incorrect. My UAR has a suppressor

On my SVD-S using a Nikko Sterling 4x40 on a genuine Izhmash O.S.M.
On everything else - irons 'n' eyes
When not airsofting I use these optics:

I use a C-more.
Low profile, good brightness, no nonsense and it allows me to see.... more?

I've always wanted a c-more, they just seem really expensive.. also would look a bit odd on my M249, but if I ever manage to get a rail on my shotgun I'll definitely go for a c-more
