A&K M249 Air Nozzle

Hi guys, I was looking to replace the air nozzle in my A&K M249 and after some research some people say that it is longer than the convention M4/16 air nozzle and I require a special one.
I was hoping someone could either clear this up whether or not I need to go on a search for a unique one.
