Problem From Hell!!!

Ok here goes.

So I have a newly build DMR Sniper Rifle and I have custom built my version 3 gearbox which works perfectly.

Everytime it's fired it fires on single shot only as it should.......

So here's the problem.... Put in an empty mag and it still fires on semi only but as soon as a mag with ammo goes into the gun it only fires on full auto. When the mag runs out its back to semi only????

Seriously confused by this weird fault, any ideas would be much appreciated :-)

Where exactly is the selector plate? Something has to be moving it.

Tried different make mags? Sounds daft but if it is knocking the selector plate somehow this could be a fix?

Alternatively how have you locked this to SEMI ONLY? Could be an issue with how this has been done?

Also check the cut off lever and has arm both maybe effected internally when ammo is in the rifle

Did it on my sentry last week so swapped out the parts and worked

Which gun does it concern? Is it front wired?

Put a few shims on cut off lever to steady it and now it's fine. I think the vibration cause the problems!!!
