snapped safety selector

The safety selector For my Area L85 has snapped off in the fire position and i can no longer put on the safety as that part came off in a game without me noticing til the end is there any way to repair this at all or am i gona have to unplug the battery to make it safe now?

You'll probably need a new selector, but it goes without saying that you should always unplug and remove the battery for storage to make safe.
It goes in the same league as not storing the gun with the mag in.

obviously about storage but im on about making my gun safe in game when im not shooting and ive not seen any ARES parts for the rifle sold anywhere
