something just isn't right - g36-
26 March, 2012, 00:03
All,
I've just wired a mosfet into my firends g36c. When the gearbox is assembled with the motor attached it works perfect. However when I place the motor and gearbox into its housing it doesn't work, its dead. I've even taped the motor wires/connectors in place and again, out the housing it all works great as soon as I place it in the housing no joy. I don't know if its an issue with the selector plate or what....anyone any ideas?
Thanks
billy

I think maybe something is shorting against the gearbox case which then shorts against the gearbox shaft... Only thing I can think of.

yeah its a plastic gun/housing so unless its causing a cut in the wire to go against the metal housing of the motor .....strange problem
