Small piece on tm hop rubbber?
20 February, 2009, 18:29
As the title say really where does the tiny little black bit go with the hop up on a p90 as ive fitted an m100 kit and its just spitting out the bb's?
Any help?

Re: Small piece on tm hop rubbber?
The tiny little black piece goes on top of the hop-up rubber, this applies the hop-up to the bb. Without it there won't be any hop-up. reassemble the hop-up with the little piece in between the lever arm and the hop-up rubber that goes on the barrel.

It just sits in here. You'll find it easier if you put a tiny piece of grease for it to sit in, so it holds it in place while you sort it out. You'll then need to make sure the leaver is all the way up. (Check by looking into the unit and adjusting it) Then you can pop the barrel back in.

By spitting out, do you mean it fires not very far. Or soon as you put in the mag it empties down the barrel?

Is the motor going and everything? Not sure if you can see without taking it apart on the P90 but the nozzle on the front of the gearbox should be going back and forth.

It might be, that is something to rule out.
Try clearing it, then firing at your hand, see if there is any pressure there.
From what you say they hop up would seem to be the guilty party, if everything is cycling ok. What new parts you fit in the hop, or why did you take it apart?

Right old cylinder is in but now fires, although it fires a mixture of 1 good one rarely but normally 2 or 3 at a time, took the barrel assembly out to try a different barrel but it was too long, what have i done wrongggggg

I think the next step is to get a picture of the inside of your mechbox up here. Let one of the guru's have a look.

Re: Small piece on tm hop rubbber?
Have you fiddled with the cut off switch, or any of the trigger mechanism?
If the nozzle is correctly in the tappet plate then I'm saying the hop-up is your problem. Make sure it is all back in one piece, the notches aligned on the barrel, the bucking is not wrinkled up. Maybe grease the outside of it slighly so the barrel slides on easier.
