JG ak su motor
8 April, 2012, 20:01
I noticed today that my aksu was running a tad slow and was getting harder to actually fire.
It stopped twice but then packed up completely once home,I guess that's the trigger as the motor runs ok.
While it's apart I thought I'd put a "better" motor in it,I don't want to do any gearbox work and I'm running Lipo's..any suggestion on a "better" straightforward replacement motor will be appreciated.
The one in it is black with no markings so it's prolly a cheapo standard item...thanks.

Re: JG ak su motor
IIRC these are "Short" type motors.
What are you looking for though, Speed, Reliability, Torque?

Re: JG ak su motor
I'd recommend a clone high torque motor, like SHS or one of the JG ones. Better trigger response, but not a huge jump in ROF. Also decently priced. Failing that, even a TM EG1000 will give you what you're looking for.
Yeah for ak's it is a short type motor. Fo sho.
Buy my stuff!
