Help me upgrade my BE XM8
18 November, 2009, 09:54
Bought this off Beef, now want to do some upgrades for it?
What would you recommend for a guy on a budget?
Have I bought or sold an item that relates to you recently? If so, please leave me my iTrader

Re: Help me upgrade my BE XM8
Element parts - they do the trick for me.
Firstly I'd replace the gears, piston and piston head, get some 6mm shims and shim it properly.
After that, start replacing all the other parts in the gearbox with decent quality stuff, like the element parts if you're on a budget.
The motor should be fine.
Please get in touch if you want general help. Please report problematic posts.

If you're on a budget, and it's working, why upgrade it now?
BE don't have the best reputation for longevity, but if it ain't broke, don't fix it!

True, but it has had some trouble firing on full auto, and I want to give it some extra oomph! :D
