HK416 Front end bolt!

Hey guys,

I took the bolt off my 416's ris and went to put it back on, after tightening the whole thing down, I accidentally stripped the nut/thing so i'm looking to replace it... anyone know what i can do to fix it or even get a replacement part ?

google finds nothing !!!

Best bet is to phone a retailer. They may have parts in spares boxes if you are lucky.

I have had luck in the past using PTFE tape with stripped nuts and bolts, mainly on my old VSR.

Just wrap a load round the bolt and it should hold depending on how badly it has stripped.

Alternatively, for a more permanent fix, a bit of araldite would hold it.
