lipo battery gettin hot

hey need wee bit of help im new to usiny lipos but when i use my g&g ump with upgraded motor to a shs high torque after about a min in full auto the lipo get very warm and gettin a bit worried any help on this would be great

And your surprised?
it could be down to a multitude of things, bad wiring, incorrect motor height or even a bad shim job.
But in all honesty when will you ever need 60secs or more of full auto fire?

It's the correct hight it was a airsoft shop that fitted it iv not touched the in side of gearbox I was fine with last motor in it

Have you re-set the motor height after install? Also, torque motors do pull more amps than regular motors. How sure are you that the battery is actually 20c? Is it a decent make or an eBay job?
In short it's being over-worked. Work on reducing stress within the system or get a bigger/better battery.

I had a similar issue with a G&P 11.1v recently. It was an upgraded gun with the work done by a respected global supplier. Turned out the gear box had a pretty bad grease job done.
A re-shim and a clean with the addition of a MOSFET solved it.
