    Ares M60!!

    just bought a ares m60! needs a new piston what version gearbox does it use?? is it the same as an m249?

          The link basically says "Use Google", it's generally considered good form to do at least a modicum of searching before asking questions that you can find the answer to as easily as anyone can respond.

          I just used Google...
          I believe the Ares M60 gearbox is it's own variant, not the same as the M249 though I could be wrong.
          Regardless, it doesn't matter, it uses an airsoft piston, you can buy the same piston for this as if you were buying for a 249, an L85, an M4, an MP5...
          It's really just down to your taste in pistons... SHS, Deepfire... Tokyo Marui if you like the piston as a "sacrificial" part...
