Burst wizard problem

Im having an issue hardwiring the burst wizard into hardware mode. as soon as i put the battery in it gives me 1 motor spin and then 3 more afterwards and then shuts off completely. however, as soon as i remove the gearbox shell (ics m4 lower) and try again. it spins absolutely fine when i pull the trigger. the gun was working fine before i reshimmed the gearbox.

has anyone else had this problem?

i have read the manual where it could be the low lipo protection but im using a pretty much full 9.6v nimh 2200 but still shuts off.

are you certain there are no shorts on your soldering/wiring when you close the mechbox, ie nothing touching the joints
