Hi all
In desperate need of a type 89 switch assembly
I believe its for a version 8 gearbox but cant find one anywhere

Can you be more specific? The switch block components in the gearbox (electrical, and mechanical cutoffs), or the outer selector assembly?

Yea its the internal switch block and connected wires, i have one that is totaly fried and needs a replacment but cos there different to a normal gearbox i cant seem to find one

Thats clearly been bodged!, is that yours?
I do have a V8 block, but not spare, however i can give you dimensions for lost parts etc, or try and repair it for you.
It would also be beneficial to use a FET to take the bulk current away from the mechanical switch, which judging by the state of the contacts in the picture would have played a part in the problem.

Nah thats not my one but mine is way past repair lol iv already tried that. I literaly need a full replacment switch assembly.
Was thinking of tryin to reverse enginere one from a version 2 gearbox but not sure how thatl go.
Any ideas of anywere tht sells spares
