L85 dans defence handguard on a l86

Right I am not expecting a reply to this anyway seeing as nothing else has been posted on so far, but what the heck ill give it a go.

I have currently an ICS L85

I have just procured an ICS L86 shell pretty much everything except a gearbox. but I can do all of that.

I am going through the process of moving the L85 to the 86 so i have a fully functioning L86.

so this is where the issue comes in, I am hoping to fit a : http://www.zerooneairsoft.net/images/DDL85RIS.jpg
to the L86 rather than my l85 I know it wont go flush, and will most likely require heavy modding, but was wondering if anyone had tried this before? if so how did it go and what did you have to do?
but also any other advice is welcome if any.
