M16 into SR25

I own a dboys m16 a4 ris full metal gun. And now i want to upgrade it to a sr25 if it is possible. I found the silencer for the sr25 and what else would i need to get it on the gun? The silencer doesnt look like it fits to the barrel. And also i would like to upgrade all the interior,from auto to semi only (in our club for electric snipers is 500fps limit) so i would like to get the gun somewhere there. For all the things ive wrote,what would be the price approximate?

The cost of an SR25, you can't make them from an M16, the receiver is totally different, the CA version and A&K version even has a different gearbox.

I meant just visualy to be like the sr25,all it needs is the long silencer. About the gun,are dboys guns pimpable? To set it to semi only and arround 500fps? Currently it haves 400. Sorry for my stupid questions,im new to pimping guns.

It's just another m4-a-like, so you can fit whatever m4/16 bits you like to it.

I think people will get confused with your terminology. An SR25 isn't just another basic m4 derivative. It takes a completely different magazine, thus both the upper AND lower receivers are completely different, much longer than an Armalite's.

If I understand what you want correctly, for the silencer, all you need is the matching Flash Hider if it's a QD type, or if the silencer attaches to the thread then you need the matching 14mm thread under the current flash hider.

Internally, to get it to 500 fps, you kinda need to know what you're doing tbh. That's not a weak spring, will you be able to muscle it into the case? Also, what mods will you make to get the case to not explode? What about the piston? What motor and gears are you using? hell, what battery for that matter? what hop rubber to take advantage of that power?

Also, are you planning to have someone to shoot you with that cannon after it's built, so you know how badly that thing will hurt if you hit them with it?

The SR25 long can fits to a grooved gas block, it slides over the barrel so you would need to run without a flash hider or get the straight sniper style barrel.

you could use the stock and inter barrel, as well as handle and motor, and possibly RIS but you would have to buy a new reciever and a new gearbox, of course if you want the SR-25 silencer you will need the outer barrel so for the hassle, might as well buy a broken one and fix it or buy a new one.

Much apreciate for the help! I will see if i will sell the m16 and buy a new sr25 or will pimp the m16. The only thing is the gun is arround 3 weeks old so if i sell it i will lose quoter of the price.

A KAC URX for a start? Or something very similar. Looks like they have their SR25 URX RAS on there

It has a 20" outer barrel, so you'd need one of those

Ok,so now i decided to buy a new sr25,i found a cheap one in one store in italy. It's a a&k sr25 aeg full set,but im just bugged by the price since it is so cheap!! (196€)

Bare in mind that it seems quite a few places are selling at around that price mark and the A&K SVD has gotten good press so I wouldn't be too worried in getting it.

Well ive seen the guns that are cheaper for about 30%of the other prices. Most of them have 250-300fps,now i found another one in my country for 290€ and says that it haves 450fps,that means it really haves around 400-420.My SR25 is comming this month and i intend to upgrade it to 500fps,that is the limit in our club for semi guns. The m16 is being converted into a m4 r.i.s as we speak so i have a cqb gun too. Altough,ive puted the lowest price for my l96 and is just 3 weeks old and nobody is interested
