A&k sr-25 upgrade

Hi all,

i want to upgrade my a&k sr-25 aeg internally.

I am quite new to airsofting and will need all your help.

Please can you tell me how to upgrade it to approx 400-450 fps

and state the make and quality of the parts

and if you can do it for me i will pay you for your labour cost and

cost of the internal parts

i was thinkng of upgrading the :

1)spring to a systema m130?
2)motor
3)bushings
4)gears

Any particular reason why you want to do this? I'm assumig that you're old enough to use this particular weapon at your local skirmish site?

Regardless of age, you cannot legally run an auto at that power, it becomes a section 5 firearm.

I bought the gun of zeroin some time ago originally it came with a M120 but the person i bought it off had to down grade it because his site wouldnt let him use it.Origanlly this gun was firing at 425-450 fps

Ok will your site let you use it? And additionally you will need to ensure that it's single shot only. A lot of sites will only allow bolt-action single shot over 350fps, semi-auto AEGs will still have to be 350fps or under (depending on site limit)

I'm not an expert on bringing AEGs up to the levels that you want to achieve though, sorry.

In truth, lots of the China/Taiwan guns are too hot to be legally sold here. The fact that dealers still do doesn't change the fact that you would be manufacturing a machine gun in the eyes of the law. The previous owner did the right thing and had it brought into legal limits, don't risk your neck by taking it back outside. Dealers tend to leave the guns hot as they know sites won't allow them unless they're locked to semi only, in which case they are both legal and site friendly.

Thanks guys i might aswell just stay with the downgraded spring because its not a single shot sniper

Ok my site allows me to have a semi auto arond 400fps and I would like to know what the best options are to upgrading my A&K SR 25. As there are no complete systema gearboxes that will fit.
