Mosfet indeed. Active breaking I think, but I'm no electronics expert. Also, I would recomend some low resistance wiring.

16awg wire is the bees knees mate
mofset will indeed make it quite possible to get a faster single shot action, wee cheeky motor, sumit high speedy systema turbo or sumit along the lines, might be to fast and you'll need to get madbull shark hop to stop the double feeding.
why would you want a faster single shot anyways? just use auto on bursts :S

A systema highspeed motor will destroy youur piston unless you modify it to correct AOE.

Re: increasing single shot speed
nope, you could easyly get a tappet plate delayer or a reinforced piston, or use a lower voltage bat

Re: increasing single shot speed
Sorry mate, it will. A tappet plate delayer will halp feeding yes, but the sector gear will pre-engage the piston at that speed. A re-enforced (I presume you mean metal) piston will just ensure that your sector gear will go as oppose to the piston, it doesn't stop the pre-engagement.

Re: increasing single shot speed
High torque motors such as the magnum are good for snappy response. They reach higher RPM quicker than the higher speed motors under load. Paired with lower ratio gears and a MOSFET for feeding every last drop of current, you will have very little delay. Remember to get a MOSFET with an active breaker to you don't over cycle and get 2 shots instead of one
