M249 and M4 problems
10 August, 2012, 10:58
Two birds with one stone here guys.
I'm a GBB pistol freak so aeg problems arent my thing.
My M4 gearbox has locked. Rookie question, how can I unjam / lock it
Secondly, I have a G&P M249 which has begun to double fire in the barrel and consequently jam.
Also, the motor sounds as though it shearing and shredding the gearbox to pieces.
Any help from the wise Zeroin community?
Many thanks
Sandy

Re: M249 and M4 problems
m4 gearbox , most times sticking the gun on a large battery can clear a lock-up on a V2 but something could have let go and jammed in side the gearbox . you can take the pistol grip off and using a hooked tool pull the AR latch that should unlock the gun
m249 - look at your hop rubber/ hop for any signs of damage , try and to adjust the motor hight on the gearbox but tbh I'm thinking something is broken ( G&P v2 are common to lose gear axles and pinion heads )

Re: M249 and M4 problems
It's the tappet plate on the m4 I think.
When disassembled, the air nozzle has the usual give when it's disassembled and then reassembled, it's locked.
Got a pick in the motor hole to fiddle with the AR latch and that's fine, not a problem.
The m249 is daunting so will give a sit rep on that when I can
