Kac pdw gear box?

Hello again people,

Does anyone no if the aeg gear box in the kac pdw is just an m4 gearbox or is it a gearbox of its own?

It's a Version 2, but it has proprietary indents cut in the outside of the shell for the gears of the ambidextrous trigger mechanism.

Cheers, so if I bought a standard ver2 gearbox could I put it in? I'm guessing it would stop the ambidextrous trigger switch on one side wouldnt it and turn it into a ones sided select swtich

its like the a&k masada box ,its just a hole they have drilled through the casing both sides to allow the dual selector bar to pass through the gearbox to the other side of the gun .
