Hop Rubber and nub installation help
12 August, 2012, 17:18
Hi all,
I picked up 2 Madbull blue hop up rubbers as per advise on here.
I am in the process of installing it into my CM16 (GBB not AEG) although I think it's exactly the same except the gearbox.
Where on earth does the little tiny nub go?
As pictured below -
And here is the hop up -
Any help will be greatly received!

Hop-upDiagram-ADs.jpg
Image designed by Ads of*****, but it explains the hop really well! It goes between the rubber and the hop arm and is designed to make the adjustments on the hop up more forgiving as well as allowing you to set a higher hop level, as it compresses with the passing of a bb.

Re: Hop Rubber and nub installation help
Thanks!
I have been trying to get the tiny little nub (is that what it's called?!) to sit in it's slot but it really isn't happening. Is the best way to put it in just sit it in the hop chamber and keep playing around until it sits in the little groove?!

You could take the dial off the side so the arm swings up, then sit it in place.

Re: Hop Rubber and nub installation help
On the 'bit' where the nub should sit there is the smallest screw I've ever seen, my multitool doesn't have one small enough unfortunately?
