    hi guys
    i have 2 guns that ive got recently that when chronoed before the games have been to hot and needin advice how to get them both down?
    the guns conserned are JG G36 and a JG mp5sd 5
    i have a 1j spring to go in 1 of em but as i dont know much if not any thing about the inturnals to do it myself

    also would fireing a few thousand rounds thought em bring the FPS down a bit naturely

    It might, but not enough.

    A way to do it could be to leave the gun with the spring compressed, ie halfway through a shot. This will put a lot of strain on your internals though, and they may suffer. It's best just to downgrade them.

      I've got one that needs downgrading too - 370fps (on .25g!!!)

      Is it best to just clip the springs? Any downsides to this? Can you buy weaker springs?

        For the systema brands an M100 spring is about 350 fps and 1J is 328-ish (with 0.20s). Depends on your other internals though, most people say that tightbores increase FPS so you might have to consider that while choosing the spring.

          Is it exactly what it says on the tin? i.e. just cut sections off it?
