G&G GR16 won't fire full auto? :(

Hi all,

My G&G GR16 won't fire on full auto.

All works fine on semi. Any ideas?

Either the selector plate isn't moving, or the cut off lever isn't moving.

Does safe still work? Can you pull the trigger in safe?

Cut off lever is the most likely.

First thing to check is that the little spring is still there.
Next one would me make sure that the selector plate is putting pressure on the cut off lever when in full auto mode.
If that doesn;t work you'll need to open up the gearbox to check.

Trigger cant be pulled in safe and i had to replace the little spring althouh tbh it does look a lil too big for the gap and seems to bunch up/flex even when the gap is at it biggest if that makes sense?

There are after market selector plates to prevent the spring being lost during bunching they have an extended spike in that location so you dont lose the spring when it bunches. As thats what i gues has happened that or the selector simply isnt moving far enough.. Either way inspection required to check the springs there and or replace the selector plate while your there.

You can manually hold the selector in full auto postion to test whether its just the postion missing or something mechnical..

really though full auto is the simplest to achieve.. its the guns natural state and its prob that spring.
