Hi torque makes sense to me if you are using short ratio gears as the strain is pretty nuts. I went with the advice - high torque, 13:1 gears and 11.1v lipo - and get 40 a second and 340fps

That's perfect for me iv ordered 13-1 gears and have an 11.1v Lipo what motor do you have for.that mate?

I have two that both work fine, one is a TM 1200 torque and the other is CA.
