  • Tight fitting 416 mags

Hi I recently got a g&G t4-18 (416). Its a very nice peice of kit. I recently decided to buy a JG extra long 450 round magazine for it. The magazine feeds nicely. However I found that to get the magazine in it must be pushed in hard then given a firm slap on the bottom (No pun intended). The curvature is slightly different on this magazine to the shorter stock g&g mag I got for it. Is this a general problem with all of the longer m4 mags? Or is it because I have a 416 and the magwell is slightly different? Quite annoying as the mag is actually a branded H&K one too! lol. Also when i press the mag release the magazine doesnt slide out, it needs to be pulled.

It's probably the longer magwell causing the problem. I had to take so much plastic off the front edge of a couple of p-mags that you can actually see the inside of them; that was the only way to get them to fit my 416 (VFC).
