Feeding issue palco xm8
4 September, 2012, 19:29
Hi, i bought a palco xm8 and for some reason it does not continuously feed bb's into the gun. The magazine is a tight fit in the gun and it feeds continuously if i constantly wind the mag whilst firing the gun, if i dont, i'm llucky if it fires 1 shot. The mag i'm using is the stock mag it came with. Apart from that the rest of the gun SEEMS to be fine. Any help would be muchly appreciated

Re: Feeding issue palco xm8
Firstly are you winding the mag up fully before firing the gun ? Its no use just putting BBs in and expecting it to feed, as the mag relies on a clockwork spring to pressure feed the BBs. If you are winding the mag fully then it could be that the spring pressure in the mag isn`t working. Remove the mag from the gun then top it up with BB`s and wind it up fully. There is a small peg in the top of the BB feed hole to hold the BBs in the mag. If you then pull the peg back you should get a constant stream of BBs flying out. If it`s just a dribble then the clockwork mech in the mag is dodgy.
