KA FAL problems...

I just got hold of a King Arms FAL, but I've got a couple of problems with it.

Number one: it won't fire. A fairly major fault I think. The battery is not at fault, I tested it on another AEG and it worked fine. I then looked for, and couldn't see, the fuse box. Anyone know where it is?
The gun is just completely dead, nothing happens when the trigger is pulled, not even a clicking sound.

Number two: there is a little bit of lateral play in the stock. I'm assuming this is to do with the screw between the stock and receiver, but I haven't got a screwdriver long enough to test the theory. Can anyone confirm this?

It's alive again, there was a loose spade connection to the motor. Stock still has some play in it though :/
