G&G gr16 barrel switch

Hey guys and gals,
I have a G&G gr16 and id like to get a shorter outer barrel for it so it is more a cqb length. Is it an easy switch out on a G&G or are they very temperamental on what bits are played around with?

switching out the barrel should be fine, in fact I'd recommend it as the front sight comes moulded to the barrel so you'd need to pick up a new one of those too.

The CQB length barrel is, I believe, 300mm, so you'd need to swap out the inner barrel too.

are there any speific brands to look for? i dont want to buy one and find it wont fit

Not come across one that won't except JG. For what they cost 2nd hand you can afford to buy one and resell it on Fleabay if it doesn't suit.
