just got hk 417 today want to know if it will run 11volt lipo out of the box or what do you use in yours if not

I run a 8.4v in my VFC hk417. Check what the warranty allows for.

There is only 1 417 and tbh, it should handle a reasonably sized 11.1 for a while...

and yes, they are fine for 11.1v lipo.

I use 7.4 lipo without issue and will last longer than with an 11.1

IIRC, VFC say that they test their guns with car batteries, so an 11.1v shouldn't be an issue.

I've been using one in my VFC 416 for ages and it's still running fine.
