  • JG MP5SD6 inner barrel?

    Hi,

After putting some thought into upgrading my gun i decided that the best idea was to go for a great ROF (its an MP5, range is not gunna be great). But then when i took a closer look at my gun i realised that when i remove the scilencer the inner barrel only goes about 4cm into it....leaving me with 10cm of extra room to hide an inner barrel.

My question is, has anyone put a longer barrel in and SD, and if so what length did you use?

Also, are stock JG barrels tightbore, i.e less than 6.04??

And a final question, will upgadeing to a TM EGI 1000 motor increase my rof?

    Cheers

    Ed

    dont do it......

    it makes little difference(if any)

and means you can never remove the silencer to pack the gun away ect

What makes you think as it is an MP5 you'll get any less range than any other AEG?

        Assuming longer barre=longer range?

then you assume wrong. range has alot to do with hop ups

for example, my jg aug. 509mm barrel.

          my tm sig 290mm barrel

the jg has higher fps, but theyre VERY close on range

Hopup and bore of barrel affect range. Fps really doesn't have much of an affect. Length of barrel has none.

Yes, and Eg1000 will up your rof, and is a very healthy upgrade.

I took out my stock marui M16a2 today (2895fps), it was outanging a Dboys scar running at 348fps. Just proves how good tm stuff is.

tm stuff is the best ALL ROUND.

tm have theyre flaws, but are generally fantastic

Yes, but despite JG being good the barrels won't be as nice as an aftermarket one. .
