TM G36C selector plate being fussy
9 March, 2009, 21:56
Heya guys. Before I go playing around with my G36C selector plate, I wanna ask to see if anyone else has had this problem.
Basically, full auto doesn't work unless I keep the fire selector fully pressed. This means that the selector plate isn't completing the circuit properly, so I assume it's in the wrong place or something's up with it.

Re: TM G36C selector plate being fussy
Selector plates have a plate of metal under them that slides over two tabs of metal protruding from the gearbox, thus completing the circuit. Sometimes these tabs get bent down from lots of use, and thus don't touch the selector plate's plate. Just get some pliers or whatever fits best and bend them back up a bit.
