Magazine drop on feeder lip

During a game - a mag change under pressure (on my WE hi capa 5.1) caused me to fumble my empty mag and drop it on the ground. This caused the top of the mag the feeder lip (the two parts that hold the BB's in place) to snap. Gutted!

So my question is..
1. Have you suffered the dreaded dropped magazine syndrome? I'm guessing a few of you have...so what's your story?
2. Have you managed to source the replacement part?

Hicapa mag lips are easily available on zeroone etc.

i havent actually fumbled a mag yet (surprisingly) come tomorrow i might though!

A quick google search will find you one, get the nineball upgraded ones if you can.

Well so far a "quick google" hasn't helped as everyone and I mean "EVERYONE!!!" (DEA Stansfield from LEON) does not have them in stock.
So either you hi cappa guys are crap at juggling (like me) or the production line is on permanent fag break!
