  • NiMh battery help needed.

I have two 2200maH 8.4v batteries. One was dead, the other I discharged.

From fully discharged, a charge for either battery should have taken roughly 3.8hrs at 1A. Instead it took about an hour, according to my ProPeak.

Half the cells were warm and half were cold when it finished - is this an indication of shagged batteries?

How can I pull them back from the brink or do I need to replace them? Can they be reconditioned?

I tried a discharge then connected it to my Accucel-6. Whilst charging, it read as 10.4v... I's confused!
